About Erica Schlumper

Erica is a Partner and Director of Development at 1828 Property Group, where she helps shape how the firm looks, operates, communicates, and grows.
From the earliest stages of 1828, she has been deeply involved in building the foundation behind the business, developing the brand, website, technology platforms, marketing systems, templates, client-facing materials, and internal tools that give the firm a cohesive presence from day one.
Today her role spans development, marketing, property presentation, technology, and team support, working alongside Leigh and the broader 1828 team to create the materials, systems, and processes that support new listings, clients, and opportunities as the company grows.
A Design-Driven Perspective
Erica studied Interior Design at Parsons and Interior Architecture at Ohio University, a background that continues to shape how she approaches her work.
Her experience in design taught her that the way something is presented matters as much as how it functions. Whether she is developing property signage, building a client presentation, or refining an internal workflow, she considers how each piece fits into the larger experience of the 1828 brand.
That perspective is especially valuable in commercial real estate, where spaces, businesses, and communities are closely connected to how they are presented.

Building the 1828 Experience
Erica leads the systems and creative infrastructure that support the brokerage behind the scenes and in front of clients.
Her work includes property and company marketing, signage, presentations, digital platforms, templates, technology, client deliverables, and the tools that help the 1828 team stay organized and prepared.
As the brokerage expands, she is focused on building repeatable systems that can support future agents and new opportunities without losing the consistency and attention to detail that define the firm.
Development With Purpose
For Erica, development is about more than growth for growth's sake.
It is about identifying what the business needs next, finding a thoughtful way to build it, and making sure every new piece strengthens the experience for both the team and the client.
That may mean creating a better way to present a property, developing a new marketing system, organizing the technology behind the business, or supporting an agent with the right materials.
Her Role at 1828
As a Partner, Erica is part of the ownership and leadership team guiding the long-term development of 1828 Property Group.
While Leigh leads the firm's licensed brokerage activities, Erica focuses on the business infrastructure surrounding that work, helping ensure the company has the brand, marketing, technology, systems, and support to operate at a high level and grow intentionally.
